Dr. Shannon Homkovics N.M.D.

"The healthcare industry is worth billions of dollars in the United States, and yet there are virtually no cures for any diseases, only treatments that suppress symptoms. Author and Doctor Jay M. Hoffman puts it perfectly when he says, “There is no reason in the world why over 75 percent of the American people should be suffering from degenerative and deficiency diseases.

Disease never comes without a cause. If a person is sick and ailing it is because he has been doing something wrong. He needs an education in how to live a healthy life.”

Knowing there are hundreds upon hundreds of known diseases today, a big question that needs to be addressed is, “why are people getting so sick in the first place?” Hundreds of years ago, the population was not suffering from heart disease, diabetes, autoimmune conditions, asthma, and so forth. Yet today millions of people in America alone suffer from these chronic conditions.

Despite all the accomplishments the healthcare industry has made, health is declining rather than improving. A conventional doctor attributes diseases primarily to old age, genetics, and bad luck. It is now not uncommon for people to expect to get sick, especially as they age.

In fact people see it as the normal process. The United States spends billions of dollars treating and studying disease, yet people expect to get sick. This seems strange. Something's not working! That is why we need an alternative, and naturopathic medicine is the solution."
